Floral Arrangements + Mindfulness + Gratitude | It’s that time of year where flowers are blooming, and something one can do is practice mindfulness & gratitude within this context. 🌸 🌺 Spending time outside, being in the moment. Acknowledging the now. 🌺 Selecting flowers. What do you see? Practice your breathing. 🌺 Based on the bunch, what vase will you select? 🌺 Now, gather your supplies. Sit or stand (whichever is more comfortable). Breathe. What is happening in the present? Select each flower, paying attention to colors, length, etc. Place where you think each aligns. This doesn’t have to be quick or rushed. If you need to readjust a flower do so. Stem by stem. Look at the petals. Each beautiful & unique. Until all have found their place in your vase. Don’t forget to breathe. Watch your body. Are there places that it’s tense? Release. You are here. You are now. You may close your eyes. Inhale. Exhale. 🌸 ‘Thank you, to the flowers, in letting me select them. Thank you, to the vase for holding them. Along, with a walk to manage symptoms of ADHD. ✨🗣️I see water flowing, trees from afar, rocks by my feet. I feel the breeze & cold air. I smell burning of wood. I taste spearmint from my gum. I hear the water hitting the rocks & the wind blowing. I am present. I am here. Now. ✨🗣️
